Certified Tarot Consultant Examination (CTC)


     

  1. Serve for a period of not less than three months as a Certified Professional Tarot Reader

     

  2. Write and publish an article explaining what an tarot consultant does according to your own philosophy

     

  3. Attribute the seventy-eight cards of the tarot deck to an esoteric or occult paradigm such as the Tree of Life, Circle of the Year, Astrology, Numerology, Alchemy, Psychology, the Runes, I-Ching, or any mythological or spiritual system

     

  4. Write an original poem, ritual, spell or meditation for each card of the Major Arcana or write a curriculum for teaching the Major Arcana to another

     

  5. Compile a list of local and national resources to help your clients find support groups and assistance with social and personal problems such as abuse, addictions, anxiety, dental prblems, depression, employment, financial difficulties, grief, guilt, learning disorders, legal problems, medical problems, mental health issues, personal problems, relationship concerns, school difficulties, suicidal tendencies and similar problems, obstacles or issues

     

  6. Your examiner will advise both you and us when you pass the examination. At that time we'll need:

  1. Be prepared to defend your personal opinion of what a tarot consultant does with your examiner
  2. Be prepared to share your attributions of the twenty-two Major Arcana to the paradigm of your choice
  3. Be prepared to share and discuss your poems, rituals, spells, meditations or curriculum with your examiner
  4. Be prepared to share and discuss your list of local and national resources with your examiner
  5. Please remember your examiner is a volunteer who wants you to pass your examination
  6. Please remember your examiner is a volunteer who wants to maintain a high standard for certification

INSTRUCTIONS TO EXAMINERS
  1. Read our current Testing Policies and Procedures
  2. Please verify the candidate has served as a CPTR for at least three months
  3. Please be certain the candidate has a defendable attribution of the Major Arcana
  4. Please be certain the candidate created the poems, rituals, spells, meditations or curriculum to meet the requirement for writing these things themselves
  5. Please be certain the candidate has a list of local and national resources to help clients
  6. Please remember your duty is to satisfy yourself the candidate meets the requirements for certification
